Obama calls Romney to congratulate for securing Republican nomination

U.S. President Barack Obama on Wednesday called former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney to congratulate for his securing Republican presidential nomination by a victory in the previous day's primary in Texas, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said.
