Food safety awareness rises after nuclear crisis: gov't paper

Awareness about food safety increased among people after the Fukushima nuclear crisis, with 66.0 percent polled last December saying they have such knowledge, up 28.6 percentage points from a similar survey in fiscal 2010, the government said Friday in a white paper on dietary education.
