Noda reshuffles Cabinet to court opposition support for tax hike

TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda reshuffled his Cabinet on Monday, effectively sacking two censured ministers in a bid to court the main opposition Liberal Democratic Party's support in securing parliamentary passage of contentious legislation to raise the sales tax in Japan.
